Lohan’s Dad Promises A Vow of Silence

Finally! This just might be good news. Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s dad, is promising that he will stop talking to the media. He even went on to apologize for any hurt that his rants and speaking to the media has caused.
The patriarch of the family even claims that he will take the high road. He has stated that ven if people talk badly about him, he will not respond. Well, let’s see how long this will last. I’m thinking, not too long.
Michael seems to find it really difficult to keep his mouth shut. He likes to talk and it seems like he enjoys the media and all the attention that it affords.
Hopefully, though he promises to stop going public with his rants, he will still fight on Lindsay’s behalf to keep her sober. Dina seems a bit too lax. Well, best wishes for the entire family!

Lady Gaga’s Paris Show Cancelled because of Strikes

Lady Gaga’s little monsters in France will have to wait until the holiday season to see the performance of their favorite pop icon. Live Nation, the tour backer of the famous singer announced last October 20 that the performance of the pop artist originally scheduled at the end of this month will be changed because of the strikes that are currently happening in the region.
France has been subjected to a number of strikes and rallies for a couple of weeks already due to its President, Nicolas Sarkozy announcing a proposal in which the minimum retirement age of the country will be increased from 60 to 62 years of age. The age of the citizens in which they can start to receive pension benefits will also be moved from 65 to 67 years old. Due to this, many workers in France decided to take their refusal to the streets. Many of the strikers coming from the oil refineries of the country joined the strikes, causing fuel shortages all throughout the country.
This directly affected Lady Gaga’s scheduled performance in Bercy, originally scheduled on October 22 and 23 due to the oil powered trucks not being able to make it to the concert destination. Gaga’s concert was moved to December 2010 instead. Fans who already have the tickets need to refund or exchange their passes until November 14 to make it to the pop icon’s concert in December.

Beyonce’s Mom Denies Pregnancy Rumors

The world has been abuzz about Beyonce being with child by her husband, the rapper Jay-Z. We even reported on it here.

Well, there seems to be some contradictions amongst those supposedly close to the situation.

Perhaps the ultimate insider, her mom (Tina Knowles), has reportedly poo-pooed the rumors. According to her, Tina is not pregnant. She is scheduled to be on the Ellen DeGeneres show in the next day or two, probably to endorse her new Wal-Mart clothing line.

She is supposed to also address the rumors during that time. What we will find out for sure, is what Tina knows, not actually whether or not Beyonce is pregnant. That information can only come from Beyonce.

Her mom may or may not know whether or not she is actually pregnant. Even still, I am looking forward to hearing the interview.

Are John Mayer and Kim K An Item?

According to Page 6, Kim K and John Mayer may be an item, or at least in the beginning stages of becoming one. If that is the case, I have one word (and this is leveled at Kim K)…Run!!!

He is a heart breaker and only seems to care about himself and his conquests. Sure, he’s smooth and attractive, but he’s bad news. So far, he has been a “love em’ and leave them” kind of guy.

On top of that, he has a big mouth. He’ll embarrass a woman in a hot New York minute. Kim, if you need proof, listen to Taylor Swift’s new song, ‘Dear John’ or review what he’s done to Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson.

I can see the attraction for John, Kim is gorgeous. However, if Kim knows what is good for her, she will cut tail and run!!

The duo supposedly first got together at a party to see if there was any chemistry. Reportedly there was and the two hung out a few times during that time and had a good time.

Lohan Back to Rehab: No Jail Time

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to return to rehab. She will not be sent back to jail time at least for now. She dodged a bullet to say the least.
The L.A. County probation department wanted her to do jail time for violating her probation, to the tune of at least 30 days for testing positive for cocaine and an amphetamine use. They did not have a final say on her sentence but they were allowed to make a recommendation to the judge.
It appears that the judge wasn’t swayed by their expert opinion. Instead, he ordered her back to Betty Ford until January.
Lohan’s next court date is scheduled for February 25th. She won’t have to wear her SCRAM bracelet from today forward, but she will have to undergo drug testing after she is released from rehab. Ahhh…Celebrity justice at its finest!!!

Michael Lohan Allegedly Attacked

Michael Lohan was allegedly viciously attacked by an unknown assailant.
 Reportedly, the attacker, a while male in his 50s or 60s grabbed Michael from behind as he was attempting to enter his car.
The guy proceeded to choke him and then cut him several times with a sharp object. Lohan has scratches on his neck (he claimed the guy tried to slit his throat) and on his am. None of his injuries where life threatening.
The Santa Monica police have not located the assailant. No word on what may have provoked the attack. Law enforcement is still investigating.
